TIG (GTAW)

Nuñez precision welding performs an arc welding process under gas protection with electrode (non-consumable), also called TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), uses an electric arc as a source of energy that is established between the non-consumable electrode and the part to be welded with the protective wrap of inert gas. When filling material is used, it is provided by the use of rods, in the same manner as in oxyacetylene welding.

TIG ALUMINUM

Mechanically strong and visually appealing.

Although many metals are TIG welded, the metal most frequently associated with the process is aluminum, especially with metals of a smaller thickness. Many other processes, of course, can join aluminum, but in the lighter gauges the most applicable process is TIG.

TIG STAINLESS STEEL

high quality welding

This TIG welding process forms high quality cords, without the presence of slags when handling electrodes without consumables without coating, or projections. This makes it used for welding of great responsibility in stainless steel, where it is essential to achieve high quality welding.

TIG STEEL

high quality welding on all metals

As mentioned, Tig Steel is a very common practice on our industry, at NPW, Inc. We combine this process on the manufacturing of Sheet Metal products, From a frame to CRS Chassis and as showing in the pictures we use this welding process to manufacture High Strength Steel Weldments.
